1st Annual Scottish Tattoo Convention

I had a great time working at the convention this weekend and must say a huge thanks to Gentleman Jim Aitkin for being well…..a Gentleman! You rule my friend simply put……Jim was also the lucky winner of the silent auction that I was running for the Triptych of paintings I did for the exhibition at the show. All proceeds to go to the Japanese Tsunami Appeal.  I managed to raise £140 which is better than nowt eh?

The convention was very busy, with plenty of customers coming through. I must confess that I drank a little too much with a crazy bunch of folk and only hit the bed very late after it. Oops……

Anyway below are pictures of some of the work I did at the show -

Sugar Skull and Roses

A cheeky cover up of an old Rangers football badge.  Sorry for the glare.

Scottish Convention Exclusives

Ok next weekend (26th – 27th March) is the 1st Annual Scottish Tattoo Convention at the Corn Exchange Edinburgh -http://www.scottishtattooconvention.com/

For the occasion I have made a limited run of Hoodies and T-Shirts sporting my logo on the back and also vinyl stickers with aforementioned logo.  The Hoodies are set to sale for £20 and the T Shirts £10 but the stickers are free. Also for the art exhibition at the show my Triptych will be up for silent auction with all proceeds to go to Tsunami Support. There will be a very limited run of only 15 prints available at the show too for only £10.

3 Little Birds

Lexi came in with familiar reference for this….and a selection of her favourite Scottish Garden birds.  There’s more of this tattoo in the pipeline.

A new Project

I started a new project today on Jason. I’ve reworked and added to the many eyed angel at the top and have added the many eyed rams head and triangle. I will fill the left over space with an undecided image but it will have many eyes…..

It’s a Koi Mate…

A Koi……Bit of a cover up in progress shot. Almost nailed all the shading but ran out of time grr!

Sri Ganesha

A fun little Ganesha to do. I love Ganesha almost as much as I love Hanuman. Thanks Tyrone.

Pin Up/Cover Up

A cover up for Angela. Good fun…….

First Bloom

A nice rose for a first tattoo. On the ribs but she sat well.

Abstract….

Here are some pics of Robot’s abstract sleeve and chest panel. We started this about 2 years ago and he adds more bit by bit. The chest looked a tad empty so we filled it with pattern.
