2012 Scottish Tattoo Convention 31st March-1st April

This weekend sees Edinburgh host the second annual Scottish Tattoo Convention. As can be expected there will be tattoo artists from all over the globe, stalls and entertainment. My lovely lady Kay McGregor will be doing vintage hairstyling for the ladies under her ‘Hairball Alley’ banner as well as unveiling her new headwear, hair flowers -’Wee Dottles’.

At the show I shall be tattooing only a few designs of purposely drawn primate based designs from a couple of sheets of flash that I prepared. All proceeds from any of these tattoos will be donated to Primate Conservation charities. So if you are attending please come along and see what is available and perhaps get yourself a very special primate piece.

I also have t shirts and tote bags on sale – with a primate theme of course……

Rockadile

Wes, our apprentice wanted a Rockadile in honour of a 7ft statue that they have at the Green Door. I thought a nice Egyptian/Rock’n'roll mandala would go well with it.

Fantastic

I’m sorry for the title…..but it IS a fox. Will bought me in a Rum Manhattan and gave him a Fox tattoo. Lucky us.

Madre Di Dios

The lovely Sarah was in to get herself a mexican inspired russian doll – whatever makes you happy lady! Talking of which Sarah and her man Michael just got engaged too so best wishes for the pair of you.

Now The Pain Has Gone

It’s nice to see work when it’s all healed and settled. I was lucky enough to get photos of a few pieces this week.

Sphinx

Emma was in for more Egyptian themed work and got a Sphinx on her hip.

Catch Up

Sorry I’ve been slack and not updating….. Here’s a few tattoos from the last week.
