It’s always nice to have folks come back in to show their healed pieces, Matthew came in to show me how his Foo dogs healed up this week, and they’re looking great amongst the regrown arm hair.
I finished off Beth’s feet this week, so now they are a pair.
I also finished off Alex arm with a bit more dotwork and another mandala.
And a simple dotwork diamond for Kelly.
I’ll be off work for a few days next week for a routine operation, and then I’ll be away to London for my guest spot at Seven Doors.
I’m taking bookings for Edinburgh for May and June, as always email email@example.com or pop into Red Hot & Blue Tattoo to book.
Last weekend was a busy one, tattoo talk with visiting buddies from around the globe, and a little bit of tattooing too.
The Scottish Tattoo Convention is always a friendly one, was great to be back after missing out last year while I was away travelling.
It was a full on weekend, I only booked in 2 pieces to give me plenty of time for chatting and a little time for judging – some very hard decisions to be made for best of show.
I made progress on Tom’s crazy aperture sleeve and gave his good lady some very sore feet.
Thanks to Jim and all the gang for putting on another great show.
There were a few late nights this week getting some other pieces done in the shop, after unpacking after the convention.
There’s a couple of pieces still in progress
And some one shot fun
Roman numerals not by me.
Edinburgh customers are coming to me with some great ideas this year so far, making it a pleasure to be back.
Londoners, I have 1 spot remaining for my guest spot at Seven Doors, London in May, email firstname.lastname@example.org for bookings.
This week it’s been total non-stop dotwork, and preparing banners, stickers and all the rest for the Scottish Convention this weekend.
I finished off Jamie’s crazy sleeve with some background
And a few more bits from the week.
This weekend, 29th-30th March, I’ll be out of the studio and at the Scottish Tattoo Convention at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, I have some new t-shirts on the way and they’ll be on sale at the Red, Hot & Blue booth. Looking forward to a crazy weekend.
As promised, I’m off guest spotting soon, extremely excited to be working beside Deno again and with the excellent Jondix and Claudia De Sabe, real honour to share space with these guys.
I only have a few spaces left at Seven Doors, so Londoners get on to me quickly.
Drop me an email email@example.com for bookings.
After a great trip to the States in February, getting more done to my own tattoo by Thomas Hooper in Austin, and a brief guest spot with the awesome 2Spirit Tattoo in San Francisco, I’m finally settling down for a while back in Edinburgh.
I’ve been busy getting started on some bigger projects for the past couple of weeks, along with some fun one shots.
(In progress piece.)
I’m excited to be back with the old team, but I’ll still be travelling about for guest spots and conventions regularly.
Speaking of which, you can read all about my travelling in this months issue of Total Tattoo Magazine.
And don’t forget it’s the Scottish Tattoo Convention on the 29th and 30th March, stop by the Red, Hot & Blue booth where I’ll be tattooing in-between catching up with international friends.
