Octopus Days

We had a nice time in Derby with our friends at Octopus Tattoo. I tattooed 3/4 of the Horton family so many thanks to you all for keeping me busy and out of trouble. First up is a shot of Daisy’s feet.

Then it was Mei-Lin getting a gypsy head.

The next morning Paul was in getting a pin-up.

Then on the Monday Daisy ‘The Brave” was in again getting her arm done with a selection of stuff.

Later in the week I had Sam come all the way from Aberdeen – the poor lad was pretty wiped out as he’d just come off night shift on the rigs offshore then travelled straight down to finish his sleeve. Well done mate and thank you.

And for another two days I had Izzy in – yet another trooper I can tell you. I loved doing these pieces as I feel they are representative of my own style.

Monochrome

I really enjoy doing this stuff in monochrome, I’d like to do a lot more.

Traditional Corner

A couple of traditional western style tattoos . I hope you like them.

Bang!

A wizard for Kyle OTT piercer extraordinaire. Kyle had loads of stuff under here, some of which had been lasered.

Book of (F)Lies

Steven came through from Glasgow for this fun inner forearm tattoo. Thanks fella. Photo courtesy of my lovely lady x

Man, The Devil and the State

Saul was back in getting more semiotic led tattoo. We end up having great chats about the human condition and the place of man within society and a whole bunch of other stuff that drives most listeners-in mad. Shouldn’t eavesdrop then eh?

The Devil Makes Work

For idle hands….. A fun little cut-throat with a banner.

Skull skull skull

A day of the dead influenced skull. I hate taking pictures of under arm tattoos.

Death to Black Beauty

I hate horses – mainly because I’m shit scared of them-  and Nic likes ‘em but still he had this done (his request not mine).

Samu Skull

I am doing a leg sleeve of my good friend Sam “Doseprod” Hayles (check out his work yes I know I keep telling you to) and he asked for a tribal skull so here it is….. I very much enjoyed doing this and spending time with Sam as always. We eat cheese and drink wine soon my man! I did the tattoo using my lovely new machine from Roy Richardson which is a dream to use. Buy all your rotary machines from him and make him wealthy because he deserves it…..go on do it now! Thanks Roy!
