Couple of Convention updates, I’ll be at the Evian Tattoo Show on 24th-26th October and the Brussels Tattoo Convention on 7-9th November.
Hopefully see you there. Email info@jasoncorbett.co.uk for enquiries.
Last week at Lew and Danny both travelled up from down south to get tattooed in Edinburgh.
Lew sat for a whole day to complete his abstract geometric sleeve.
Danny stuck it out for two and a half days for his lady Odin and mandala half sleeve and chest panel, which I was really happy with the result of.
It’s interesting to note that the larger more complex projects are coming from clients travelling from down south, and I reckon it’s time that the Scots step up!

I had some fun stuff in over the last couple of weeks – I’m really enjoying putting new twists on Filipino Kalinga tribal tattoo patterns. The chest piece is really very influenced by my pal Roxx at 2 Spirit in San Francisco so all due respects to her. I also got to finish up Martin’s Kalinga/Geo sleeve which was a very interesting project – surprisingly both of these pieces were these guys first tattoos – ‘Go big or go home’? Well done fellas!
In the last few weeks I’ve been over to Stockholm to work at Infamous Tattoo Studio which is one of my favourite guest spots as well as my regular guest spot in London and I’ve been busy up in the ‘home base’ – Red Hot and Blue in Edinburgh. I’ve had folks down from Orkney and further beyond so it’s been flying visits all round. Here’s some of the fruits of my labour.
So once again I’ve left it too long since the last update…… I’ve been pretty busy but that’s no excuse really. Here is some work from a few weeks back.

I had a nice time down in London at Into You – such a friendly and talented crew, I really am looking forward to my return in August (7-8-9th). If you’re in London or nearby and want to book in then please email: blue@into-you.co.uk.
Here are some of the things I did there mixed in with some stuff from Edinburgh.
Also here are a couple of pieces that I managed to get healed shots of. It’s always good when you get the chance to get the tattoo once it’s settled in.
So here is some more work from the last few weeks – I’m almost back up to date.
First up I added to Jane’s mandal/henna arm next to some great pieces by Stef fro Old Town Tattoo in Edinburgh. Then there are various other pieces – amongst them a puffer fish nest – look the video up on the internet as it’s pretty cool – a Native American textile pattern whale, a Ganesh and amongst it a piece of Japanese inspired colour work from a few years back that I added a chest panel onto.

I’ve been a little slow on the blog update again so there’ll likely be more than one this week – I have been busy doing tattoos though so here are some pictures of what I’ve been up to.

I am very pleased to be able to announce that I shall be doing a monthly guest spot at Into You Tattoo in London beginning on 3rd July 2014. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work at this prestigious studio – if it were not for Into You I probably wouldn’t have been inspired to get into tattooing in the first place.
For bookings please email Blue at the studio: blue@into-you.co.uk
So I have recovered from my op and went to London for a guest spot at Seven Doors which went well with plenty of new and returning customers booking in with me directly. Thanks for having me Jondix and Deno!
I had a nice time in London and whilst there I started discussions for a regular guest spot with one of the UK’s if not the worlds most seminal and influential tattoo studios – keep your eye’s peeled for announcements! To say I’m excited about this opening door is an understatement.
Anyway here are some of the pieces I was working on:
